Sounds like Olivia Miles is staying in college (and transferring?)… Mixed news for the Valkyries, as it pushes everyone (except Paige) up a slot in this year's draft, but makes next year’s lottery more enticing.
For any Golden State Valkyries fans who want to keep building their excitement, Carla Leite had a heck of a game in a European final first-leg this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thAZPV6jQNY
With Leite and Salaun already signed, I think GSV will be over the moon if Malonga's still there at #5. #WNBA
Eric, I have a suggestion for a post - WNBA salaries and expected raise after new tv contract, including comparison w/foreign league pay and NCAA NIL. (If you already covered it, please disregard.)
In the espn coverage on Olivia Miles’s decision to delay entering the draft, pay discrepancy is never mentioned (conflict of interest ya think?). I’ve been wondering how a Valkyrie could even afford to live in the Bay Area on those paltry salaries.
Watched the highlights, Carla was cooking. Maybe a few too many long two pointers, but she kept nailing them (though maybe they edited out her misses in the highlight reel).
I'm a big fan of WNBA league pass - its always performed better for me streaming-wise than NBA league pass, and, with all games available on demand immediately after live stream ends, the blackouts aren't really an issue. And its only $35/year
Agree. The local broadcasts vary in quality (what’s with Washington’s camera being up in the nosebleeds?) but overall a great way to follow the league.
I've never heard of ION until I posted that. It looks like it's part of Fubo (which I have), Roku, YouTubeTV, Tubi, and others...? https://iontelevision.com/find-us
New thread up.

Two weeks until the draft, lots of good options looking like they'll be there at 5.

Do you guys have ION? It’s another subscription? We don’t have enough tv subscriptions already?

Sweet I have youtube tv. Can’t wait to engage my Valkyries fanhood.
Thanks
Thanks for this, Eric!
