Temi Fagbenle finally signs with GSV

Expansion draftee will join Valkyries this season

Fagbenle was drafted by the Valkyries in the expansion draft, and she was the only Restricted Free Agent taken. GSV kept the right to match any WNBA contract by making the qualifying offer, but it clearly took more negotiation to convince her to play. The one-year length of contract is not unexpected as everyone in the world is trying to be a WNBA free agent for the next offseason after the the Collective Bargaining Agreement kicks in.
