In my opinion, assuming less knowledge is a great entry point for anyone who comes across your videos and sets an identity for your channel. At best, new viewers and those with little to no basketball knowledge don't need to figure out what you're talking about. At worst, regular viewers might find certain aspects repetitive or knowledgeable basketball fans find it unnecessary, but still, they will always understand what you're talking about.
I personally have watched your videos long enough where everything is already known information for me, but I don't mind the reminders of terminology, etc. Your delivery of your videos keep it entertaining.
It’s AMAZING how much better plays work when Steph is in them. For real. The Valks ran this Triangle BLOB all year but it never worked without the gravity of Steph
EA and the Valkyries experimenting with temporal loops and nonlinear time in this video: the score goes 4-3, then 8-5, then 6-3, yet VB's perceived frustration builds linearly!
Great stuff as always. Do the Valkyries normally maintain the same defense (or defensive concepts) throughout a given quarter/half/game? Wondering how rare of an occurrence this kind of adjustment is.
It depends. Often there are small tweaks along the way. Some games (like the Miles rematch and the Carla Leite game) where GSV switches coverages every play in order to confuse them. Other games like the first Mabrey game, I didn’t notice many if any changes…
Awesome breakdown, EA! Initially, I thought it was just getting a bigger body on Kamila in Ashten Prechtel. But after watching your video, the going under vs over screens was the adjustment. I was wondering why VB kept talking to Nat and the coaching staff. Thanks for the lesson in pick and roll defense!
awesome explanation! Go Valks!
My wife and I really appreciate the very basic presentations in these E1Ps, thanks for putting this up.
Thanks for the feedback. In the discord we were discussing if it was bad that my Valkyries videos assume less knowledge...

Thank you, I really value this detailed feedback!
I've watched hoops (and E1Ps) long enough that I know a lot of the terminology, but am not bothered by the repeated descriptions...
Interesting because my memory of old E1P (for Dubs) was people getting burned by going “under”, but I guess that’s when the pick is for Steph 😉
And the Sky weren’t shooting threes, they were driving, so an adjustment was needed. And luckily it didn’t take long!

Did V have to MF Nat and the staff 🤔 Advanced lip readers please review & let me know!
